Wisconsin Troopers Association Endorses Jason Rossell for Circuit Court Judge

The Wisconsin Troopers’ Association is pleased to announce the endorsement of Jason Rossell for Circuit Court Judge Branch 2 in Kenosha County.

Jason Rossell brings a wealth of experience to the position he is seeking. He has been a prosecuting attorney with the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office, handling cases ranging from homicide prosecutions to ordinance violations.

In addition to his extensive prosecutorial experience in the courtroom, Jason Rossell was elected by his peers to serve as President of the Kenosha County Bar Association in 2009. In 2011, he was appointed to the bench to fill the vacancy created by Judge Barbara Kluka’s retirement.

Trooper Jack Aupperle, a member of the Wisconsin Troopers’ Association, stated, “Jason Rossell brings the right balance of preserving law and order while protecting the rights of victims and the accused.”

Jason Rossell’s experience makes him the right choice for law enforcement, and his service has earned the respect and endorsement of the Wisconsin Troopers’ Association.

Rossell is the right choice for circuit court judge

Over the past month I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Judge Jason Rossell and his wife while on the campaign trail. After discussing philosophies, qualifications and background, it is my belief that Judge Rossell is the right choice for circuit court judge.

There are many reasons for my support of Judge Rossell, but there are two highlights that stood out to me. They are the fact that he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class from UW-Madison Law School and his excellent experience as a prosecutor while serving as an assistant district attorney for Kenosha. I also appreciate the fact that this is a non-partisan position and Judge Rossell has done an excellent job making his decisions based on right and wrong and not partisan politics.

Please join me in supporting Judge Jason Rossell on April 3 so that Kenosha can continue to benefit from his honesty and integrity.

Rossell has right experience, character

The way I see it, two qualities are absolutely essential in a judge: experience and character. Here’s why I support Judge Jason Rossell for Kenosha County Circuit Court.

Experience counts when you’re looking for the right man to make the right decisions. Judge Rossell is experienced in all areas of the law. As an assistant district attorney, he successfully dealt with hundreds of cases, covering all types of serious crimes.

In fact, he’s the county’s leading expert on computer crimes against children. His work in private practice, focusing on criminal defense, wills, real estate and general civil cases gives him the experience needed to make the right decisions.

Character matters when you’re looking for someone you can trust. Judge Rossell is a man of solid character. I’ve known Judge Rossell for years and he’s the real deal; honest, dependable, caring, always quick to lend a helping hand. I’m not alone in this opinion.

Many other VOP letters have been sent in by people who know or have worked with Judge Rossell. Without fail, these people use words like hardworking, dedicated, humble and integrity when describing him. You can trust him to do what’s right.

Please join me in voting for Judge Jason Rossell on April 3. He’s the right man for the job.
